Stana Iliev
Stana Iliev graduated from New Bulgarian University with a PhD in political sciences. She also has an MBA from the German University of Sustainable Development Eberswalde in Germany. Her interest lays in the intersection of economics and human rights.
Born and raised in Berlin, Stana worked and studied in Bulgaria between 2008 and 2017. Prior to joining All Out, a global organization for LGBT* rights, she has 10+ years of experience in the international nonprofit sector, including the Bulgarian Red Cross and the Trust for Social Achievement. She has done research and consulting work for the Minor Project and Research Institute in Berlin, OSCE/ODIHR, MultiKulti Collective and UNHCR Bulgaria. Stana is also a committed human rights activist. Her main areas of action are LGBT* and women’s rights as well as Refugee and Roma empowerment.
