Almira Sagimbayeva is studying for a PhD in Political sciences at New Bulgarian University. She is a specialist in international relations and has a degree of candidate of economic sciences. She has many years of experience as a civil servant at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. Now her research interests are in the fields of ethnicity, migration, multiculturalism and diversity management. She has publications in English, Russian and Kazakh.
