The book presents the first comprehensive academic study of the refugees.
The first part introduces the concepts, approaches and trends of the refugee studies, the institutionalization of the defense, the access to labor, as well as the problems of security and human rights.
The second part analyses the Bulgarians as refugees and the refugees in Bulgaria focusing on three groups – Palestinians, Afghans, Iraqi.
